ETA IS CHANGING THE WORLD THROUGH ACCESSIBLE ARTS!
Founded by a well established group of business leaders and inclusive arts supporters, we are committed to maintaining a safe and accessible environment for creative expression. Art has the power to shift the very nature and substance of both the audience and performers. ETA aims to empower artists with disabilities and illuminate audiences through our dynamic productions.
LEADERSHIP
The founding director, LaRiche Lamar, is a skilled and experienced performer and leader who has proven success in creating a respectful environment of excellence for artists with disabilities, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. LaRiche earned her Bachelor of Music from Bowling Green State University on full scholarship and continued her studies at Indiana University’s prestigious Jacob’s School of Music. She offers over 15 years experience in theater and music coupled with over 20 years experience in business leadership and management. She is dedicated to the growth and development of those she serves, which has enabled her to touch lives with her transparency, warmth, humor and strength.
LaRiche writes, “The world needs to know the brilliance of these artists. I, along with our fierce group of founding leaders, have chosen to establish ETA to ensure individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, a historically disenfranchised population, has access to a variety of arts opportunities with an organization that is committed to accommodating and advocating for their needs, goals and desires. We will empower their growth and proper representation in all mediums of art.”
The founding board supports LaRiche's leadership and vision and is committed to sustaining an accessible and inclusive culture for our theatre company. We are Empowered! Join us and access your power through the arts!
